Club Penguin History:

Before Club Penguin there was a website called rocketsnail.com. That was one of the most popular websites because of Penguin Chat 3. Because it was so popular contact music copied it and created something like it but it wasn’t as good. Club Penguin got so much money because of this so the deleted the site  Then they created Club Penguin. Screenhog gave an annoucement about their new website. Most of the betas quit. There was around 130 beta testers. So many people do not know why Paintboy100 is famous and hate him when they don’t even know that he had the first Club Penguin blog. Plus he’s a beta tester.

Well, here are some screen shots of Penguin Chat:

       

After Penguin Chat had been finished, the official Club Penguin opened, and most of the users from Penguin Chat joined. After about two months of testing, Club Penguin announced there very first party… The Halloween Party!!! The Halloween Party, may have been the best party for the fact it held Club Penguin’s first ever contest. All you had to do was tell Billybob how many decorations had been added to Club Penguin, and you would receive 500 penguin coins. The winner of this contest was a beta (yes, he still does play and log on every few months) named Charze! Here is the only known picture from this party:

Shortly after this party, the Beta Tester Party came out. This is Club Penguin’s “Birthday” because it is when it officially started. Every year, Club Penguin still celebrates this and every year, penguin who log on that day will receive a free party hat. Well, on this day (October 24, 2005) Club Penguin started and every penguin who went to this party received a pink and yellow party hat which is now called the Beta Hat by other users. Alot of penguins missed this party, but a few penguins did attend and thats how we have the following pictures:

After This Party, the sport shop opened for the first time ever in Club Penguin.  The sport shop (back then) was mostly used for buying the same clothes from the Gift Shop, except doing it with less people crowding them. During this time penguins saw very strange, furry, never before seen creatures lurking around the Snow Forts. If You Have Any Pictures Of These Please Comment.
